Race report by Adrian Berntsen
The 2010 Norwegian championship took place the weekend of February 20-21 in Spydeberg. Classes included 1:12 scale, 1:10 modified and 1:10 ProStock. Eighty drivers signed up for this race, but only 65 showed up. We ran free practice on Friday to get a better grip on the ‶1 race old※ 600m2 carpet track. On Saturday we ran 4 rounds of qualifying and on Sunday we ran the 5th and last qualifying round as well as driving finals in the end.
I won all five qualifying rounds which gave me the TQ spot ahead of Helge Johannesen in 2nd and Petter Berntsen in 3rd.

A-main 1
At the start of the first final I got a clean start while Helge made a mistake in the first corner. I got a big lead and pulled away from the start to the end. I made no mistakes and only 1 lap out of 26 was over 12 second, with a fastest lap of 11.4sec. After 5 minutes I finished 10 seconds ahead of Helge in 2nd and Petter in 3rd.

A-main 2
I also lead this final start to finish. This time Helge followed me at the start but my pace was so fast that he made too many mistakes and crashed a lot; he finished in 4th place. This win made me take the overall win and I then became the Norwegian Champion! In this final Petter finished 2nd and Joakim Nicolaisen finished 3rd.

A-main 3
I had already won but I decided to drive the last final as practice for the European Championship. Petter and Helge were battling for 2nd place overall. In the end it was Helge who took 2nd place (and overall 2nd place, too) by 3sec ahead of Joakim (3rd) and Petter (4th). Also this final I finished 1st, 1 lap and 3sec ahead of Helge.
